This is what the newly sworn in FCT MINISTER says: “If you built houses where you are not supposed to build them in Abuja, I will demolish the houses and nothing will happen. Heaven won't Fall.  People who have built houses on Green areas in Abuja, it will go down, I will bring them down, I don't care who you are and where you come from; the right thing must be done. All those land you bought for many years without developing them I will revoke them. Even those uncomplicated building in FCT I will take them back and sell them to those who are ready to develop Abuja. GOVERNOR MUTFWANG BANS ILLEGAL TAXATION, VOWS TO REVIVE SCHOLARSHIPS, RAILWAY LINE IN PLATEAU

  Governor Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang, of Plateau State, has banned the unlawful collection of taxes in the 17 Local Government Areas of the State with immediate effect. The Governor announced this at the ongoing retreat for newly inaugurated members of the State Executive Council, Political Appointees, Permanent Secretaries, Chief Executives of Parastatals, and the Governor's Direct Reporting Unit Staff holding at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru. Governor Mutfwang expressed his commitment to rejuvenating the scholarship scheme in order to provide financial support to underprivileged students in the state and ensure they access education without constraints. SENATOR DIKET PLANG EMPOWERS OVER THREE THOUSAND WOMEN IN PLATEAU CENTRAL

In a bid to promote sustainable economic growth and development in society, Senator Diket Plang, representing Plateau Central Senatorial District, recently organized a one-day training program for women in soap making and digital marketing. Held at the MNS Resort in Pankshin and People's House in Mangu on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, the event aimed to empower women and equip them with the necessary skills to thrive in today's digital age. The Women Empowerment Programme, facilitated by Senator Diket Plang, was organized in collaboration with the Federal Polytechnic Ukana and saw over 3000 participants from the five local government areas of the zone. Regardless of their tribes, religions, or political affiliations, these participants were carefully selected to ensure a diverse and inclusive representation. During the program, Senator Diket Plang stressed the importance of women empowerment in fostering peace and unity within the zone. He highlighted that promoting gender equality
